A Method to Design Assembling Lines for Super Premium Efficiency Motors

Producing highly efficient electric motors remains a challenge nowadays. Given that the legislation in field requires transition to production of engines with increased efficiency, for manufacturing companies, switching from one generation another can be difficult task. This paper analyzes ways adapt assembly IE4 starting lines previous generation, IE3. The analysis process covers both operator training part and actual part. Ten possible variants line specific decisional variables have been defined. decision choose optimal configuration was made using as management tools matrix consequences utilities. validation theoretical model carried out through case study built two classes motors, namely G90 G180. For total 20,000 parts/month, analyzed variants, respectively, sizes (G90 G100) represent 35% (7000 parts/month) size 22% (4400 G100 size. aim is provide new modular concept, which depending on orders, use, given conclusion this article.
